Shoulder Instability Rehabilitation Program

  • 26 Steps

About

Our shoulder instability rehab is designed for individuals recovering from dislocations, subluxations, labral injuries, or chronic shoulder instability. Each phase targets a specific stage of healing and functional recovery. 💡 You can purchase each phase (2–5) independently. However, completing the full program is highly recommended to restore long-term stability, reduce recurrence, and build functional strength. 🔹 Phase 1: Protection & Inflammation Control (Weeks 0–3) Goal: Reduce inflammation, protect healing tissues, and activate early stabilising muscles. 🔹 Phase 2: Early Mobility & Motor Control (Weeks 3–6) Goal: Restore passive and active-assisted ROM, initiate control of shoulder stabilisers. 🔹 Phase 3: Strengthening & Joint Stability (Weeks 6–12) Goal: Build rotator cuff and scapular strength, restore full ROM, and enhance joint stability. 🔹 Phase 4: Advanced Control & Performance (Weeks 12–16) Goal: Improve strength endurance, control in dynamic environments, and sport-specific preparation. 🔹 Phase 5: Return to Sport or Full Function (Weeks 16–24+) Goal: Achieve full return to daily activity, sport, or occupation with confidence and safety. ✅ Why Finish All Phases? Skipping phases can result in incomplete healing, poor movement habits, and long-term instability. Our program is carefully designed to: • Support each stage of tissue healing • Restore full strength and coordination • Reduce the chance of recurrence • Prepare you for life or sport confidently
